Here she is, folks....
Baby Daisy. She's being held by her big sister, who I have nicknamed "Little Bunny Foo-Foo". (Foo-Foo for short.) (And believe it or not, she actually doesn't mind me calling her that ridiculous name...) (But I HAVE caught her rolling her eyes whenever I say it...)
Sorry for not posting much lately but, of all things, I got caught in one of those dangerous Texan flash-floods last week. And it was actually a pretty close call for me---I'm still rather humbled from it. (However, the Jeep's brakes have worked somewhat better ever since driving through that flood---go figure.)
(Hey, maybe I can put off that brake job for even LONGER, despite the fact that my exasperated mechanic has come to the office at least once a week for the last 3 weeks to nag me about how much I need that brake job....)
Although I was pretty frightened while it was happening (which is very unusual for me on the road, as I'm usually foolhardy, reckless, and idiotically fearless) I DID get my stupid pictures of the whole event. (Never let it be said that I don't utilize my ever-present handy-dandy camera on every occasion---even when I'm about to be swallowed up by swamp water and bitten by water snakes....)
The Message Goat still hasn't stopped calling me a "GD fool" for what I did during that flash flood, but by God I saw my patient that day. I felt like Tom Hanks in that movie where he gets stranded on a desert island but finally delivers his Fed Ex package when he is rescued. But I had something better than a make-shift life raft. I had the good ole Jeep---which never fails me.
I will get those pictures up soon---and I can't help repeating myself.....it WAS rather frightening.
(And yes, I did have a few conversations with The Lord during that whole ordeal---and I can tell you that I used my utmost humility while talking to Him....I figured it wasn't really the time or place to holler at him or aggravate him in any way...)

Awwwww. Belinda sure has beautiful babies. Foo-foo is a darling, and the baby Daisy is precious. Thanks for the photo.
As for your foolishness, we are all grateful you came through it unscathed - except for being scared out of your gourd. I think it proves God has forgiven you your recent problem, and still has future plans for you.
Baby Daisy is ADORABLE!!! Thanks for sharing ... Foo-Foo's pretty darn cute, too, and looks like she's enjoying being a big sister.
Can't wait to hear what you did during the flood ... at least your life is never DULL, woman!
Hi, While surfing the web, I came across your website and found it to be very information. I would like to share your website with my visitors. I was wondering if we can exchange links, please review my site http://philippinenurses.blogspot.com .
what pretty girls. I love new babies.
Glad your safe. I've had a few adventures in Jeeps. I tend to date men that drive them, but for the life of me I can't figure out why I don't have one for myself. . .
What a beautiful picture of Foo-Foo and Daisy! You can tell her that people all over the world think that she and her sister are beautiful.
You'd better get wings AND pontoons on that Jeep!
Floods are scary. I think it's the out-of-control feeling you get when you feel water sloshing at the floorboards.
Question: Do fire ants float/swim?
Cute kids! Belinda should be proud.
Glad you escaped the flood. Now go get your brakes done before you give your mechanic a nervous breakdown.
How about a link now that the old blog is down and the new one is up?
Chocolate and Raspberries is no more.
Beautiful babies!!! I am glad you decided not to yell at God again - remember what happens? Silly girl! I am looking forward to your saga! details girl- details!
