Ahem, ladies and gentlemen...
This is your Message Goat speaking. Today I thought it necessary to alert you to the fact that Bohemian is not feeling very well.
What amuses me is that after all of Bohemian's constant (and sanctimonious, if you ask me) naggings and blusterings to her patients and co-workers, whereby she frequently lectures them loud and long on "taking care of their health" and "making sure to go to their doctor regularly", Bohemian actually had to put her money where her mouth is (no pun intended, HEH!)...
........and go to the dentist.
And since I'm feeling bilious today, I am going to be an Evil Message Goat and spill the beans to tell you that no sooner had the dentist entered the examining room, where a bib-bedecked Bohemian sat nervously biting her fingernails (while completely ignoring the totally cool flat-screen television hanging over her examining chair)...
...but Bohemian suddenly burst into tears and started bawling her silly head off just like one of the idiot doggies in the pasture.
You know, I really hate to say this (and you didn't hear it from me) but that Bohemian can be such a total coward at times, sigh....
That is all from Your Message Goat today. Updates to follow...
Thanks for the update MG.
Hope things are well, BRN and I hope you feel well enough to knit some.
I hope Bohemian is feeling better by now and that the dentist didn't torture her too much.
Honey, crying because it hurt or because you are overworked? Poor thang if you would come work by me we could go out for a mexican martini after work. I know the best place ever!(((hugs)))
Sweetie. Two words: "Laughing Gas." Find a dentist that uses it and techniques to dispell your terror. My German SIL had awful, awful fears left from her disturbing childhood background and only got over it when she became friends with a dentist who understood. There is no reason you have to suffer and believe me, we all have these things tucked away in our brains that make us want to pick up and run...or cry our eyeballs out. Logic has nothing to do with it. You're a tough little cookie and shouldn't have to spend one minute terrified. And there's a dentist out there that better understand!
Thank goodness! At first I thought she may have had a run in with the bad peanut butter! Whew! I hope the dentist didn't hurt her too bad! I personally think Dentists are sadists with a lisence to inflict pain. ;-) I hope I didnt' offend any dentists out there reading this. Uh oh I'm due for an appointment too. eeek!
I agree with alabamama...find a dentist who will put you at ease. Hope you're feeling better soon.
The dentist scares me too. Tell that old message goat not to be so hard on you!
Honey, I can totally sympathize with your dentist fears. I know it's hard, but try to remember that this is only a short hour out of your life.
I also am terrified of the dentist Bohemian. I just have a tooth that needs to much done to fix it pulled. It's such a wonderful feeling to look at the dam tooth and know it can never hurt me again!
I hope your feeling better, and no worries about the spelling, I have days like that too.
poor Bo. That is soo sad. I don't care for the dentist - but to cry over it is terrible. I dont know that it was all dentist that made you cry.
take care of yourself and FLOSS DAILY!!
You are not alone!! I'd rather go to the gynaecologist than visit the dentist, and it's getting worse because I KNOW I need work done..urgently..and expensively. And to make matters worse, I'm such a hypocrite, BRN: As soon as my kids even look like they've a sore tooth, it's off to the dentist for them, not to mention the orthodontic hell that my daughter's been through.
I hope you're feeling better.
And I like that message goat; she's got spunk!
