Ouch...

*

I know I've been totally grouchy and obnoxious lately...

But I threw my back out, and I've been flat on my back since then, moaning and groaning, hoping it will get better. But it hasn't gotten better. (This probably isn't a very good excuse for my grouchy obnoxious behavior, but it's all I've got.)

So Blaine's taking me up to the Emergency Room later on when he gets home.

I hate going to the Emergency Room.

Good luck. I know what a pain throwing your back out can be and doctors in general are a pain.

Ok girl, you're excused. I thought you were a little grouchy and since reading you for years and years, it was the first pissyness I'd ever seen outa you! So sorry about the back. That's a truly disabling thing. Get a nice source of warmth, some good books, and plan to chill out a while. Heal. Be kind to yourself. We'll overlook any grouchies now...

Dont most of us - who know what goes on in one - hate going to the ER? When I broke my ankle, hubby used psychology on me to get me to the Urgent Care - "what would you tell someone else to do in this situation".

Good luck on your back - I am not a believer in chiropractor but my hubby has made me a believer. They have kept him from back sugery for about 20+ years now. Find one you can trust.

Pain makes us all grouchy. Good luck and I hope you have some relief very soon!

Are you better now after the emergency room visit? Steph

Thanks, you guys! And Steph, I'm still not doing that well--ouch. The X-ray didn't show anything drastic but the real radiologist hasn't evaluated it yet. For now, I'm still in a lot of pain...waaaah.... (But I'm going to rally--I'm going to get stubborn about this.)

Oh dear, I'm sorry, I will continue with sympathy and some understanding and lots of prayers. Are you able to knit without hurting too much? Steph in NH
