The Fabled "White" Appears....

We sat down and wept by the waters O*

Of Babel, and thought of the day...

(Lord Byron)

I*

I'm in a blue funk.

Perhaps it's the weather.

Perhaps it is because I was the "on-call" nurse this past weekend--- and I'm fatigued after having had to slog my way for two days through the endless lakes of mud that the recent rain has created out in Podunk's ranch country.

Perhaps it is simply because the sun has been hiding too much lately.....

But in any event, I would like to share with you the most beautiful and precious photograph that I believe I've taken in years...

t*

Behold....

The fabled "white"....who only appears this close to the main road once in a blue moon.....

W*

Who knows why I was chosen.

I*

I'll be back in a bit....

That is a fine photograph. All you need is some haunting celtic music to go with it.

Girl, you need a glass of wine, some chocolate, and a long hot bubblebath. Hop to it!

Whoa! It's Shadowfax!

Gandalf must be in a pub nearby.

Heh. Lame jokes aside, that IS a good pic.

Re your comment on my blog: Awww...being on your blogroll is an honour. "One pineapple pie"? Now THAT sounds like it's worthy of a blog post. (Or one of those 'Medical Romance' novels.) =)

You said WHAT? Good Lord, slips of tongue can be so hilarious in medicine cos many of them tend to frighten patients shitless, don't they? :)

Also, since we're on quotes here, there's a line in the new film 'Notes From A Scandal' where Judi Dench says "They do things differently here in bourgeouis Bohemia". Guess who I thought of immediately :)

That's a beautiful photo. It has this kinda mystical quality about it. I like. :)
